Richmond International Raceway, known as America’s Premier Short Track, offers great day and night racing action and a commitment to the fan experience. One of the most popular facilities among drivers and fans in all of motorsports, Richmond International Raceway annually hosts two NASCAR Doubleheader weekends featuring the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series, on a ¾-mile D-Shaped oval. The unique layout traditionally produces exciting side-by-side racing, yet drivers reach high enough speeds for a superspeedway feel. Combined with first-class amenities and a focus on the fans, guests at Richmond International Raceway can expect a thrilling and memorable experience. The 2017 schedule features races April 29-30 for the ToyotaCare 250 and the Toyota Owners 400 as well as the September 8th VA 529 College Savings 250 Xfinity Series Race and the September 9th Federated Auto Parts 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Race, showcasing the Race to the Chase “under the lights.” The track becomes the 8th largest “city” in the Commonwealth of Virginia on NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race days, with approximately 100,000 on the track’s property.
