Welcome
to the Richmond Raceway Complex, which is located just outside
of the city of Richmond in beautiful Henrico County. Richmond,
one of the most historic cities in the United States, is the
capital of the Commonwealth of Virginia and Henrico County is
over 350 years old.
While
keeping with its hometown feel, Richmond and Henrico County
are leading centers for industry and the home of six Fortune
500 companies. Richmond is also home to several major
universities including University of Richmond, Virginia
Commonwealth University and Virginia Union University.
Richmond and Henrico County also offer a multitude of
recreational and cultural activities for you and your guests
to enjoy. There are 26 parks, a state-of-the-art Botanical
Garden, a cultural arts center, three first class museums,
dozens of highly rated public and private golf courses, King's
Dominion amusement park and a wide variety of premier
shopping.
In addition, the Richmond Braves minor
league baseball team and the Richmond Renegades minor league
hockey team are proud to claim Richmond as their home.
